Have 'Ur' Say... Comments, Suggestions, Questions, Queries, Feedback

We're having our say:...
So you are an ECGHLI member and you have proposed an improvement idea or suggestion for the community initiative.   Did you receive satisfactory feedback or signposting?   Would you appreciate the opportunity to attend a members meeting and understand more about how Community Projects work?   Would you like to ensure that your voice is heard?   Please contact us if you wish to be notified about the date of our next meeting where you will be welcomed to share your expertise, meet other members and make suggestions in tune with the agenda items.

So you think things are moving too slow.   If there are no funds for a specific identified developmental need and no voluntary fundraising activity in progress; you may wish to write a letter of funding appeal and address to the Secretary for circulation to all ECGHLI members.   Your   letter could outline what the need is and up to three various official/ formal estimates of the cost; together with a proposal as to how the costs might be met; E.g. you might want to launch a penny appeal for new tools.   You are at liberty to volunteer your own time and skill or nominate a willing and capable person to do this on the Organisation’s behalf.   It is important to note that all the Initiative’s Scheme Administrators are volunteers; however, if you have fundraising skills, spare time and willingness to offer fundraising support to enable a paid worker to be obligated by contract; you are most welcome to apply for a voluntary position befitting that role.   As a Volunteer; you will be an unpaid helper or assistant; with a job description and role formally outlined in writing by the ECGHLI Committee for the specified term.   You will not be obliged to do anything that you have not agreed to do; and even where agreed; you are neither under any obligation to meet any specific timeframes or targets if provisions to meet those targets are not at your disposal e.g. materials; travel and lunch.

So you feel that you have been treated unfairly by a member/s of the ECGHLI team and your grievance has not been satisfactorily sorted out by the offending member/s; kindly refer your grievance to the ECGHLI Committee via the contact address.   If your grievance has been ignored by the Committee for any reason; follow up with a recorded delivery letter.   Allow 14 days for a response and if your grievance is still unresolved for any unlikely reason; ensure proof of delivery from the Royal Mail; then refer your complaint to the BHAA Committee of which you are also a member - refer to the contact details on your BHAA Membership Card.

So you feel that your experience with ECGHLI gave you the best days of your life... tell us!
